He has completed over 150 international solo tour performances, and is the first and only countertenor to ever be booked in the “Live on Stage” network. While in Oneonta, Terry will give an educational workshop in addition to his “Around the World in 80 Minutes” concert on Friday evening at the First United Methodist Church, where he’ll perform with Alina Kiryayeva, pianist, and a wind player TBA. We will be there starting at 9 a.m. and aim to go until about 12pm. We'd be glad to have help for any length of time you are willing to share. Come and enjoy the morning outdoors while making the garden beautiful. Jobs may include watering plants, general weeding, removing weeds from between pavers, planting of annuals or perennials, and trimming shrubs. If you plan to come, please bring work gloves, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and any gardening tools you have, including shovels, trowels and hand tools, weed diggers, rakes, patio brooms, clippers, electric trimmers, and the like. For more information, call Diana Friedell at 607-433-2089. The garden is located behind the Oneonta Senior High School at 130 East Street. Go through the parking lot to the right as you come down the entranceway, and you’ll find a road that leads around behind the building.

He has been a member of the Music Dept. faculty of SUNY Oneonta since 2016. A whirlwind of world dance and live music that brings the audience on a journey around the globe, EarthBeat! features a medley of forms and rhythms that different people and cultures have evolved to express their need to harmonize with the earth. In addition to the major performance, they will offer a presentation to students in a multi-school assembly, and possibly a participatory workshop for local dance students. Promoting peace and the harmonious co-existence of world cultures and traditions through their performances and educational programs over 50 years of presenting original, world-infused choreography and music, both locally and internationally, The Vanaver Caravan inspires people in every walk of life to join together in song, dance, and celebration!
